Community Impact Award, World Culture Film Festival

This past weekend we were invited to attend a film festival that featured over 60 countries from around the world with “cinema that inspires and uplifts the human spirit, the power to positively influence society.” Many incredible films and artists were recognized including Jeremy Piven and John Savage. The Beyond Project received the Community Impact Award and Rachel got to share our mission to a room full of an international audience. 

As an organization that believes in the empowerment of individuals we were inspired over the weekend at all the stories from around the world. Including the movie Rule Breakers that is based on the true story of Afghan girls robotic team. Along with many other incredible movies, shorts and documentaries.

We are grateful to be recognized at the World Culture Film Festival alongside so many talented film makers, actors, writers and story tellers.
